Once you cross the hedge, you realize how disconnected you are, out of time, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, somewhere where the magic of old stones works. These walls, full of history, originally housed one of the farms of the Pontlevoy abbey. The domain now hosts joyful gatherings where it is sweet to rest by the fire or in the shade of the lime tree while enjoying the spectacle of the changing sky above the pond.

Beyond its size, able to accommodate XL tribes, it is the family house style in the nature which seduces the travelers of passage.

SUSPENDED TIME... A COUNTRY HOUSE CUT OFF FROM THE WORLD

Domaine de la Chenillière is dedicated to all those who dream of a country house to invite friends, to gather with their family, to have barbecues on the soft grass in front of the pond in the background, to start the day with a swim in the swimming pool (heated indoor pool for the exclusive use of the tenants) before having coffee in the sun, while the children play ping pong or go on the swing, with the herons in the backdrop and the deer as their only neighbors.

Located in Touraine, the ChenillIère estate is the ideal "home sweet home", in the peace and quiet, for a weekend, for vacations, for yoga, watercolor or cooking courses, ....

LIFE IN GREEN

Recently renovated, the old farm of the Pontlevoy abbey has kept all its authenticity (very nice restoration, careful decoration, beams, fireplace without erasing anything of the history of the place). 

CHENILLIERE (245 m2 / 6 rooms) 

- 4 bedrooms (1 through quadruple, 1 triple and 2 parental suites, i.e. 11 beds) and 4 bathrooms + living rooms (large living room, library and dining room); note: one suite on the ground floor accessible by a step;

BELLE LUMIERE (190 m2 / 6 rooms)

- 5 bedrooms (4 double rooms including two master suites, 1 triple room) and 5 bathrooms (+ 2 extra beds on the landing) for a total of 13 beds. All the rooms are on the first floor.

Inside, everything has been designed for "uncomplicated" vacations.

- The living room-library (33 m2) with its large fireplace, the large dining room (50 m2), the small dining room (26 m2) open onto the garden;

- 2 fully equipped kitchens with dishwasher, refrigerators/freezers, ovens, hotplates, coffee makers, kettle, toaster ... etc (+ back kitchen with extra refrigerator, washing machine and dryer),

- the rooms are bright (high quality bedding, BB bed on request) + 1 bathroom and a shower room ....

In winter, the house is very pleasant to live in with its central heating and its large fireplaces.

The living room and its TV corner invite you to relax.

The heated indoor swimming pool allows swimming in all seasons.

In the summertime, the old lime tree provides shade, and the meals it hosts promise to be memorable (shaded outdoor meals with a large table and chairs).

At sunset, the view of the park invites contemplation.

The park covers more than one hectare and includes a green garden, two ponds, an orchard, a large barn where children can play in case of bad weather, a covered and heated swimming pool of 20 X 10 foots,  (Children who cannot swim remain under the supervision of their parents), a ping-pong table, a barbecue, a swing, pétanque balls.

Numerous sunbeds are at your disposal.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Come in the spring. The irises and daffodils are in full bloom.

Come in summer. The wisteria invades the facade, and the lavender perfumes the garden.

Come in autumn, for a last sip of vacation. Everything becomes ochre...

Come in winter. The bare trees look fantastic. All year long, the pond offers a permanent spectacle: herons, moorhens, ducks and swans perform a magical ballet.

ACCESS

The property is always rented in its entirety to one family. You have access to the entire domain, the park and the swimming pool.

Multiple services are available: transfer from and to the train station, catering delivery, baby sitting, possibility of cleaning during the stay.

BEHAVIOR

Preference for family or sports events, training courses, hikers, .... 

Parties are not allowed. 

All events (birthdays or other) must be announced in advance. 

Renting to responsible families and guests, please use the premises with respect and care and treat this house as if it were your own ... with the respect due to its former owner
